A life built
on the road.
From regional work as a young musician in West Texas, to more than eight years on the national stage with Lonestar, to his current work across the Texas music scene, touring has been a constant throughout Jeremy’s professional career.
Explore the Career →Beyond
the stage.
In the studio, Jeremy’s work moves between playing sessions and producing records. Sometimes that means finding that one part that changes the way a song feels. Other times it means shaping the arrangement, casting the players and helping define the direction of the record as a whole.
Recent session work includes pedal steel on five tracks from Flatland Cavalry’s Work of Heart, including “Never Coming Back,” the band’s first Top 40 hit at national radio.

Playing the part.
Shaping the record.
As a session musician, Jeremy focuses on finding the right part for the song — sometimes one defining part, sometimes several layers across different instruments.
As a producer, he steps back and looks at the record as a whole, helping shape the songs, arrangements, players and direction of the project from start to finish.
Inside the Studio →Three generations.
Jeremy grew up in a West Texas musical family. His grandfather, Wally Moyers Sr., was an accomplished steel guitarist whose career connected him to Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Bill Mack, Slim Whitman and others — and who gave Jeremy his first steel guitar lessons as a boy.
His father, Wally Moyers, is a Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame player whose career has spanned decades as a touring and session musician, producer, studio owner and educator.
